YES Workforce Learning Center: Code of Conduct
Welcome to YES Workforce Learning Center! We’re dedicated to creating a friendly and respectful learning environment for all. By joining our programs, you agree to respect these rules to help keep our community positive and supportive:
Respect for Everyone: Always treat staff, fellow learners, and visitors with respect. No matter their background, everyone deserves kindness and dignity.
Inclusivity: We value diversity. Help us build a community where everyone feels welcome and valued.
Stay Positive: Approach learning with enthusiasm. Encourage and support your classmates in their studies.
Be Honest: Always be honest in your work. Don’t cheat or plagiarize.
Attend and Be on Time: Try to attend all classes and be on time. If you must miss a class, let your instructor know.
Be Professional: Act and dress professionally. Avoid clothing with negative messages, and don’t wear hats or hoodies in class, except for religious reasons.
Resolve Conflicts Calmly: If you have a disagreement, handle it respectfully. Ask for help if you need it.
Keep Things Private: Respect everyone’s privacy. Keep personal information and sensitive discussions confidential.
Stay Safe: Follow safety rules and report any concerns.
Use Resources Wisely: Use school facilities and equipment responsibly and for learning purposes only.
Follow All Policies: Make sure you know and follow all our rules and guidelines.
No Bullying or Discrimination: Be kind and understanding. We have a strict policy against discrimination and harassment. Visit our website for more details.
No Drugs or Alcohol: Don’t use, have, or share illegal drugs or alcohol here. Breaking this rule will lead to immediate removal from the program.
Be Careful Online: Use social media wisely. Don’t post anything harmful about our community.
No Mobile Phones in Class: Keep your mobile phone away during class. Using it is disruptive and shows a lack of interest in learning.
Get Involved: Participate in class and group activities. Your engagement helps you and your classmates succeed.
No Violence: We don’t tolerate violence. Such behavior will lead to immediate termination and possible police involvement.
Help Us Improve: Participate in at least 2-3 surveys during your program. Your honest feedback helps us get better and continue offering scholarships.
If you don’t follow these rules, you may face consequences like warnings or even removal from the program.
