Setting
expectations

Long-term employment requires technical and soft skills training. Job seekers must have the skills employers want (including adaptability, a positive attitude, and a good work ethic). YES Workforce will equip job seekers with technology, basic office, workplace, and soft skills training. We connect job seekers with employers looking to fill positions with graduates enrolled in our vocational training programs/course listings.

Job Placement Assistance

Job seekers receive job placement assistance and ongoing support from YES Workforce after graduation for six months. We aim to create a win-win situation for both job seekers and employers. We strive to positively impact our community by connecting skilled individuals to meaningful employment once they complete our vocational training program and achieve a micro-credential/national certification in their field of study by passing the certification exam.

…almost 40 percent of American employers say they cannot find people with the skills they need, even for entry-level jobs. Almost 60 percent complain of lack of preparation, even for entry-level jobs. On the other hand, this “skills gap” represents a massive pool of untapped talent and has dire consequences, including economic underperformance, social unrest, and individual despair.
